note i don't think you can select and throw a flash. you have to have it held back, then release mouse 1 (while holding e to defuse).

Thats actaully illegal.

8.4 - Illegal Defuses

At least half of the bomb must be in view to be considered a legal defuse. It is illegal to complete a defuse through any solid object or entity if less than half of the bomb can be seen by the defuser. The use of any grenades while defusing the bomb is strictly forbidden.

Breaking the rule will result in a one week player match ban and one round deductions each offence.

Why havnt they just fixed it then :/

It's a competitive rule - patches come out on wednesday, some take longer than others (and really, the grenade thing is reasonably trivial compared to other things, like hacking or glitches)

Note the 'through walls' defuse rule is due to things like people playing Nuke stacking on lower b to defuse the bomb at a site... lol
